called me n threated me to pay $500 0r if they sue me its gonna be $5000 and when i said i dont know anythin this guy hang up when i called back the number was not in service

Got a recorded message on my answering machine last night: "You have won a prize, blah blah, press 1 to accept". Tried to dial this number this morning but it was listed as disconnected. Probably a run-of-the mill phone scam. For the record: I live in St. John's, Newfoundland. I have a land line with Bell Aliant and an UNLISTED phone number, but that's not much defense against automated diallers..............

They're calling to try to collect an alleged pay day loan debt, which I never applied for. I've been dealing with this s**t for the last 3 months. A "Christopher Rossington" called my job asking for me, so my coworker texted me back with the number. I knew what it was and called them back. When Mr. Indian Guy answered, I completely lost it. Called him a worthless piece of s**t. He kept asking me for my name and case number. Refused to give it to him. After a long pause he goes "I want to f*** you." Classssyyyyy. Already reported them to AG, FBI, FTC. Yes, they tend to call from 0000, but they give anyone their office number. Call them from a blocked number and put your cell phone on mute and just laugh as they go crazy trying to figure out who's calling them and why no one's answering.

I get same calls as described by other callers - agree with Alexis, I regret putting my name online for college information. The caller is a pest - had to block the number.

Claims he was from Legal Claims Services and that if I did not call this number back within 24 hours I would be served a summons to be in court. Also called my in-laws house. Wouldn't leave any info about what the debt was for.

Spanish reacorded msg. to my cell # regularly.

Callling my job leaving threatening hostile messages for third parties to hear. The message is about 1 minute 58 seconds. Leaving very hositile threatening messages.

Don't hang up on them!! They will still call you again and again anyway, press option #1 like you wish to speak to them and just leave the phone off the hook. When they pick up, you're not there and now you waste their time. Or better yet, give the phone to your 4 year old to talk to them or perhaps your dog.

debt collector calls several times a day indicating i have debt with creditor cashnet. i have contacted cashnet they made me aware i dont have a debt with them. collector wanted debit card info and failue to provide would have consequences of jail and court

I get many calls from this number weekly, but i never pick up, but they call very late at night too, and about 3 times a day ! whats going on with this ?
